Fully authorized: requirements met, sponsorship active, no restrictions. The one status that asks nothing of you.
Authorized, but the regulator attached conditions you must satisfy, and conditional approval can be withdrawn.
Your license exists but has no active sponsorship, the standard between-employers status. It flips back once a new sponsorship is accepted.
Something required is missing, most often CE credits or a fee. During renewal season, missing CE is the usual suspect.
The license lapsed, usually a missed December 31 renewal. Most states allow reinstatement only through the last day of February.
The license is no longer valid. Returning usually means reapplying, and after five unlicensed years your test result expires too.
